Trigeminal Neuralgia as the Only Neurological Manifestation of COVID-19: A Rare Case

Trigeminal neuralgia is a neuropathic disease characterized by severe pain that reduces the patient's quality of life. This case report presents Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive whose only neurological symptom trigeminal neuralgia. A 59-year-old male patient with complaints weakness, joint pain, cough, and respiratory failure was diagnosed COVID-19. The started on COVID-19 treatment quarantined. Severe occurred right side face third day onset COVID-19-related complaints. There in distribution region maxillary mandibular nerves, occurring 10-20 times lasting 1-2 minutes. neuralgia, carbamazepine started. Within three days, significant decrease observed complaint pain. It should be kept mind SARS-CoV-2 may cause activating nerve.
